A man mountain took on a mountain of food – and became the first to demolish the lot!
Professional eater and bodybuilder Randy Santel, from America, took on the Genting Club’s infamous Tower Burger Challenge which had never been completed before.
There was over 2lbs of fries so I ate them first
The mammoth 2kg meal, which includes four 6oz prime steak burgers, 200g of bacon, 100g of cheese, onion rings, a mountain of coleslaw and a kilogram of fries, has to be eaten in 15 minutes for the challenge to be won.
But the resort’s man versus food challenge saw man win, and Randy add another title to his growing number of food victories – while staying fit and healthy.
Randy travels the globe devising challenges for food outlets, and advising on how to keep them as healthy as possible.
He now has 405 food challenges in 38 American states and 11 countries around the world, and those numbers are always continually growing.
Randy told his Facebook fans afterwards: “Wow that was a close one!
“I got win #405 tonight at Genting Club Blackpool by becoming the first person to defeat their Tower Burger Challenge.
“There was over 2lbs of fries so I ate them first and then everything else. The time limit was a very short 15 minutes and I’ve been worried for the past days about not finishing in time. I finished with only four seconds left on the clock, so my final time was 14:56.
