Anthony Cawley, 24, of Homestead Way, Fleetwood, admitted assault after appearing at Preston Crown Court.

He was involved in two incidents on October 15 last year.

Around 4.30am police were called to London Street in Fleetwood where two men aged 40 and 41 had been attacked by Cawley in an alleyway close to Rafters nightclub, with both victims suffering broken jaws.

Around 7am, a second incident occurred in Wyre Street after a group of people returned home from Rafters.

Cawley was asked to leave after becoming disruptive. He attacked a 31-year-old woman, hitting her across the head with a rounders bat and fracturing her skull.

Det Con Christine Baynham-Swales, of Blackpool CID, said: “Cawley is clearly a very dangerous offender whose actions left his victims with a number of serious injuries.

“In an unprovoked attack, Cawley broke the jaws of two men before hours later assaulting a woman with a rounders bat.

"A dangerous offender is now off the streets and the victims can hopefully, in time, move on with their lives.”
