Kitchen fitter John Wignall was tempted into breaking a restraining order by his ex partner.
The order had been imposed to protect the woman from being harassed by 50-year-old Wignall of Claremont Road, Blackpool.
But Blackpool Magistrates heard that she wanted the order removing.
Wignall was fined £300 and ordered to pay £115 costs after he admitted breaching the order.
They went out as a couple and stayed at two different hotels over a weekend.
It was during a police welfare visit to the woman’s home that the officer found out Wignall was living there.
Allan Cobain, defending, said: “It was sheer foolishness by this man breaking the order. But she wanted him to and now wants the order removing.”
