A man has died after being pulled from the sea in Blackpool.
Emergency services were called to the water near Shaftesbury Avenue at about 8.20pm on Saturday, after a 26-year-old got into difficulty in the choppy sea.
Police said the man’s friends tried to pull him out of the water, but were unable to hold on to him.
