Man broke arm in ‘unprovoked’ attack

A man was repeatedly punched during a night out in Blackpool.

Police are investigating after the victim suffered a broken arm and facial injuries during a serious assault at Revolution, on Market Street.

He was on the dance-floor with another man when he was attacked shortly before midnight on Saturday.

Det Con Sean Burrell, of Blackpool CID, said: “He has got a broken arm and facial injures. He is going to need another X-ray.

“Two males were on the dance-floor and one of them has been subjected to an unprovoked attack in which he was repeatedly punched.”

He said the man responsible was seen with a group of males, who were not involved in the attack.

The offender is described as a tall white man, who is slim but muscular and has a shaven or bald head. He may have been wearing a white T-shirt.
