Man arrested on suspicion of raping woman in Layton flat
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape after police launched a public appeal.
The teen, from Liverpool, handed himself in at Blackpool police station last night after officers said they wanted to speak with Alex McMahon.
He remains in police custody in connection with the alleged attack, which took place at a Layton flat in the early hours on July 9.
Police have now cancelled their appeal.
