Man arrested on suspicion of rape
A man has been arrested following a report of rape at a Blackpool address.
Police were called to Dinmore Avenue at around 8.30am today to a report that a woman in her 40s had been sexually assaulted.
A 28-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of rape. He remains in police custody while investigations are carried out.
One witness reported seeing five police cars at the scene.
The victim is being supported by specially trained officers.
