Main South Shore road closed after accident
Lytham Road in South Shore was closed earlier, close to the junction with Station Road, police said.
Officers said they were 'dealing with an accident' there, with diversions in place 'whilst we make sure everyone is looked after'.
"Please try and avoid the area if possible," Blackpool Police said on Twitter at around 6.10pm.
The road was reopen around half an hour later, it was understood.
