Lytham Proms tickets to go on sale

The 2014 Proms weekend runs from August 1-3.

And when tickets go on sale on Friday, those who purchase will receive a discount as part of an ‘early bird’ offer.

It has also been announced that the 2014 event will end with a firework display, with the ‘Last Night of the Proms’ concert now moving to the Sunday evening.

The 2014 line-up for the event on Lytham Green is yet to be announced.

Peter Taylor, festival director at St Annes-based Cuffe & Taylor, said: “Next year marks our fifth Anniversary as organisers of the Lytham Proms Festival Weekend.

To mark this special occasion we felt it more fitting to have the firework display on the final evening, and to make it extra special.”

Tickets going on sale on Friday are:

• Early bird weekend general admission - £99 including booking fees

• Early bird weekend general admission (Child under 14 years) - £49 including booking fees (must be booked with an Adult Ticket)

• Early bird weekend general admission (Child under 5 years) – Free entry
