Organisers have announced today that “with regret” the event can no longer be held at Lytham’s Grade I-listed Georgian mansion.

Their statement reads: “This is no reflection on the venue of Lytham Hall with it’s beautiful grounds and we have found their team to be incredibly supportive and encouraging – however, due to a completely untenable situation brought about by third parties the events can no longer proceed.

“We are very saddened by this but due to their actions we have decided that it is highly unlikely that we will be able to return there in the future.

“Lytham Hall is a jewel on the coastline and its restoration programme is vital and these events would have added some much needed financial support from ourselves via the event.

“However, on a very positive note – Blackpool has come to rescue.

“We are pleased to announce the events will now take place as “North Pier Live!” at the iconic venue of North Pier Theatre, Blackpool.”
