The Blackpool couple tied the knot on March 12 at the Pavilion on the Prom after first meeting at work in June 2013.

It was love at first sight for the couple and as they got to know each other, Amy said she knew Lee was the one.

They went on a date, became inseparable and the rest is history.

Lee, 33, proposed in May 2014 at Mamma’s, Amy’s favourite Italian restaurant and the very place they had shared their first date. Amy, 28, said: “When he proposed I was so happy, words could not describe the way I felt at that moment. I finally had the perfect man who wanted me to be his wife and that’s the best feeling ever.”

The whole wedding occasion was held at the Pavilion on the Prom in Blackpool which is part of the Park House Hotel.

They held the ceremony there, a wedding breakfast and a party into the night for all their guests.

“It was amazing, it was emotional and fantastic, so many words all in one,” said Amy.

“From start to finish every detail put into place and all the help my in-laws gave to us meant we could have this special day and for that we are truly thankful. “My son Jamie was the one who gave me away because unfortunately my father is no longer here to take the role, however I knew he would be so proud of his grandson for that.

“As I walked down the aisle to my future husband with my son on my arm, I just felt amazing and excited that I was about to become his wife.

“It wasn’t just the surroundings and the décor of the venue that made our day beautiful, it was the love you could feel from every family member. Everyone was smiling and laughing, coming together and being reunited for a day to celebrate two families becoming one.

“The look on Lee’s face as he looked me in the eyes to say our vows, family, friends and love is what made our day special. And also Alex Taylor of Park House hotel for ensuring that our day was what we wanted it to be.”

After the wedding service, the couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast and to the couple’s surprise, sons Jamie and Mason had prepared speeches.

“My father passed away 14 years and little did we know that our sons, at the ages of 10 and 11 would step up with speeches,” she said.

“Not only were they funny in parts, but they touched the hearts of every person sat in the room, we were so very proud of them.”

Their first dance was the wedding version of a meaningful song to Lee and Amy called Never Stop by Safety Suit.

A couple of days later, they enjoyed a honeymoon in Edinburgh.

They live in Blackpool with their boys Jamie and Mason and the newest addition to the family, Roman, who was born in March 2015.
