Launch of business mentoring scheme which could help Fylde firms

'Life is short; do what you love', was the advice given to business people at the launch of the Northern Mentoring Programme, from Community and Business Partners'.

The Northern Mentoring programme will provide support to businesses, in any sector, in the North West, with a bank of experienced and qualified business mentors.

Jane Houghton-Fenning, business development director at Community and Business Partners said: “We have been supporting businesses through the delivery of the successful Boost Business Lancashire programmes for over five years now, but we recognised that some businesses wanted to benefit further from additional mentoring support after their funded hours.

Matthew Riley, of Daisy Group and Antony Chesworth, of EKM each took to the stage to share their own stories of how mentoring had helped shape their businesses successes. There was also a panel Q&A with Jacob Knowles and Anthony Taylor, founders of printing firm Empine.
