'˜Large' rubbish fire spreads to resort garage
A fire involving a large amount of rubbish and wood spread to a garage at the back of Cunliffe Road in central Blackpool last night.
Firefighters from Blackpool and South Shore stations were called to tackle the blaze at 8.51pm, and spent around 75 minutes battling the flames using hose reel jets, a fire service spokesman said.
Thermal imaging cameras and lighting were also used.
