Kitchen blaze in St Annes
Firefighters were called to a home in St Annes after a blaze broke out in a kitchen during the night.
Three fire engines from St Annes and South Shore stations went to Mellings Wood at about 12.50am on Sunday, after reports that an alarm was sounding and somebody was still inside the property.
When firefighters arrived there had been a fire involving a pan in a kitchen but the fire was already out, however there was lots of smoke.
One person was given a precautionary check-up by paramedics.
