The Inenco Group is moving to new headquarters but keeping its roots firmly on the Fylde coast.

The company has transferred its operation to its new home at Ribble House, in Lytham, having outgrown its former HQ in St Annes.

Bosses say the move, which took place over Easter, marks another stage in the growth of the firm which was founded more than 60 years ago.

And it follows a management buyout last September, backed by Vitruvian Partners and Intermediate Capital Group.

Inenco Group chief executive Michael Abbott said: “We are extremely excited about our new, Ribble House site.

“Inenco’s nearby move reinforces our long-term commitment to the Fylde coast and we are thrilled to benefit from an idyllic Lytham
location.

“Significantly, the offices will offer a fantastic base for our customers to visit us and positively supports our
exciting plans for the future.”

The Ribble House site has recently benefited from a £5m refurbishment. It will be the new home for the group’s existing 220 St Annes-based staff – but crucially, bosses say there will now be space for
expansion.

Mr Abbott added: “We have initially taken space that can house up to 350, which will support our immediate expansion plans, including the already announced creation of 100 new jobs within our
Inenco Direct business.”

Founded in 1968, Inenco specialises in strategic energy management, procurement and risk management.

The business serves more than 9,000 customers and manages more than £3.2bn of electricity and gas for customers, ranging from small businesses and public sector organisations to larger household names including Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s.

Inenco Group’s 60-year heritage originated when sister company NIFES Consultancy was formed in 1953, to advise energy users on energy efficiency measures.
