Hundreds of homes affected by power cut
Hundreds of homes in Poulton were left without electricity following a power cut earlier this morning.
Electricity North West confirmed the outage shortly after 7am, when families would have been getting ready for school and work.
Traffic lights were also affected, according to reports.
A spokesman for the electricity board said 911 properties were affected, and said power was restored by 8am.
