Fresh from the big screen, the latest addition to Blackpool’s Madame Tussauds arrived in style as the town’s North Station was transformed into Paddington Station.
The wax figure of actor Hugh Bonneville, is made to look like his character, Henry Brown, from the new film, Paddington, based on the book about the travelling Peruvian bear.
The figure was pictured wearing pin stripes, complete with suitcases on the platform of the town centre train station, before being welcomed to the promenade attraction.
The actor’s figure will feature within the Best of British section in the attraction on a Paddington themed set.
Matthew Titherington, general manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, said: “We’re expecting his figure to be extremely popular, as he appeals to children and parents alike thanks to his brilliant performances.”
Bonneville is also well-liked for his roles in Downton Abbey, W1A and Notting Hill.
