“We’ve received so many fantastic messages of support from the local community, through social media, from fellow business owners and from people coming up to us on the street as they’ve watched the restaurant take shape. Everyone has given us a legendary Lancashire welcome.

“We feel we are bringing something really new and really special to this beautiful town and we cannot wait to show off the restaurant, our first class customer service and, of course, wonderful food and drink.”

Gusto has invested more than £1 million in the 4,000sq ft restaurant and bar, situated on Dicconson Terrace.
