Horse rescued from mud in Over Wyre

Firefighters came to the rescue of a horse trapped in mud in Over Wyre.

The incident happened in Bradshaw Lane, Pilling on Thursday evening and the crews from Preesall and Lancaster spent more than two hours at the scene

They used specialist large animal rescue equipment, strops and slings to lift and free the animal.
