Homes hit by power cut
More than 200 properties were affected by a power cut in Blackpool today.
Electricity North West confirmed a total of 224 of its customers living in the FY4 postcode area, mainly just off Highfield Road and Pedders Lane in South Shore, were left without electricity from just before 11.30am.
By 3pm, around 200 had their power restored.
The power cut was caused by a fault in the FY4 sub-station.
