High winds cause floodlight danger at Blackpool hotel
Firefighters were called when high winds caused damage to a Blackpool hotel.
Crews from Blackpool Fire Station attended the incident at the Liberty’s Hotel in Cocker Street at around noon today
An aerial ladder platform was used to remove floodlights from the third floor of the building.
Firefighters feared the lights, which had been hanging over a footpath had posed a danger to the public.
