The BioBlitz is being coordinated by the River Wyre Catchment Partnership, Wyre Council, the British Society for Biology, and local groups.

People can join Wyre Council’s ranger team and identify as many different species of birds, bugs, plants and beasties as possible.

As with any scientific expedition, everything found will be documented and passed on to local and national wildlife databases.
