Walkers with a heart of gold are being sought to help a good cause this month.
A Valentine’s Walk is being held as part of the British Heart Foundation (BHF)’s Ramp Up The Red Campaign, around Heron’s Reach, on Sunday, February 16.
Those taking part in the charity walk can either choose a three or six mile route, meeting at the De Vere Hotel entrance, at 11am.
The event has been organised by Pauline Arnett, last year’s BHF Fund-raising Volunteer of the Year, who regularly does helps the charity after her daughter Lucy, now 21, underwent open heart surgery as a baby and again in July.
Pauline, of Blackpool, said: “Taking part in events like this helps the BHF continue to save lives every day.”
