Blackpool’s breakfast duo Ged and Hayley are the latest people to sign up to take part in Grin and Wear It.
Ged Mills and Hayley Kay, from Radio Wave’s breakfast show, will be wearing their pyjamas while presenting their show on Friday to support our Hospice Heroes appeal.
Hayley said: “We’re definitely doing it.
“By coming in wearing our pyjamas we’re just making life easier, and it’s a great way to raise money for charity.
“We’re really looking forward to it. It’s a good idea. Anything out of the ordinary is worth having a go at.”
We want as many people as possible to take part in Grin and Wear It to make the day – February 14 – the biggest ever dress up, or dress down on the Fylde Coast.
If you’re planning on wearing your pyjamas, fancy dress or just spending the day in casual clothes, let us know.
We need to raise £200,000 for a massive refurbishment at Trinity Hospice and Brian House children’s hospice to make them fit for purpose for the next 30 years.
Let’s make this the best dress-down
The Gazette is on a mission to raise £200,000 to pay for a huge refurbishment at Trinity Hospice and Brian House, on Low Moor Road, Bispham. We hope Friday will play a big part of our appeal, with as many people as possible in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre taking part. Let us know what you’re doing. Call (01253) 361728.
