The survey, run by Fylde Council, aims to find out what people like and dislike about open spaces and leisure facilities in the area and how important they are to them.

Fylde Coun Cheryl Little said: “Even grassed areas on estates are important to people – to some people they will be as important as sports centres and facilities.

“Therefore we want to know the ‘big picture’ as to what people want more of and less of. We are also surveying things such as how people get to and from leisure facilities and how they rate things such as cleanliness and safety.”

The survey can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/fyldecomm
