The Fylde Council survey aims to find out what people like and dislike about open spaces and leisure facilities in the area and how important they are to them.

Participants will be asked to consider things such as parks, sports facilities, the promenade and the cemetery. Councillors will then consider the results as a guide to future provision.

Councillor Cheryl Little, chairman of Fylde Council’s Tourism and Leisure Committee, said: “We already know how residents like and appreciate the open spaces in Fylde. They tell us through the annual residents’ survey, but it doesn’t mean that things can’t be improved. Even grassed areas on estates are important to people – to some people they will be as important as sports centres and facilities.

“Therefore we want to know the big picture.” The survey is at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/fyldecomm
