The event, themed Be Bold For Change, took place at Ribby Hall Village, Wrea Green and was hosted by Blackpool-based Pink Link Ladies Networking.
Guest speaker Rachel Ray told fellow business-women how she became the successful founder of Bright and Beautiful in 2007, a housekeeping and cleaning service – and now has franchisees across the UK. Speaker Joanne Thompson talked about how she campaigned for the Government to change the law on first-aid training in children’s nurseries, after the devastating loss of her daughter who tragically chocked while eating mash at her nursery.
