Harvey is a cat who needs a loving home after suffering serious burns and scalds to his body.
The scars took months to heal after he was rescued by RSPCA inspectors in December last year.
Ever since, he has lived at the charity’s rescue centre in Stalmine, and now he is ready to start a new life in a new home.
Harvey is a friendly, outgoing and very playful cat.
He loves his food, but doesn’t like sharing. He needs an owner who is happy to play with him. Harvey can be a little rough when he plays, so he isn’t suitable to live with children.
Due to his past injuries he has some sensitive areas along his back and tail, so he is looking for a patient and understanding owner. He doesn’t like other cats and finds the cattery environment very stressful. This can sometimes affect his true character.
His adoption fee is £65. He is neutered, flead, wormed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If anyone can offer Harvey a home they should contact the rescue centre on (01253) 703000.
