Now Create has established Create Homes, which will launch with its first project, a development of 27 houses in Inskip, in the Fylde.

Work has just started on site, and the first home should be complete within six months, with construction of the full development expected to take 18 months.

The site will include two, three and four-bedroom homes, named after boroughs of Wyre including Winmarleigh.

Create was advised by Martin Long, commercial property partner at Napthens solicitors, on the acquisition of the site.

Martin said: “It is great news to see a successful local business expanding in this way, particularly when the property and construction sector has faced some tough times in recent years.

“Create Construction has a great reputation and this new venture is a logical next step for the business.”

Gill Mathison of Create, said: “We had been looking for some time to introduce a new, residential property development arm to the business, and felt the time was right.

“After considerable research we chose the site at Inskip, a popular location in stunning surroundings with great access to transport networks.

“This is an exciting time for us and we are fully intending this development to be the first of many in the Fylde and Wyre areas.”
