Golf driver '˜flees scene' after crash on Progress Way
A red Volkswagen Golf made off from the scene of an accident which saw another car smash into a lamp-post on a Blackpool dual carriageway, police said.
Police were called to the roundabout at the end of Progress Way at 2.10pm on Thursday to reports of a crash involving a blue Vauxhall Astra and the Golf.
Police said witnesses reported seeing the Golf flee the accident scene. No one was injured.
Traffic was affected briefly while the debris was cleared and the Astra recovered.
