The weather on Sunday, July 8 was glorious – in fact a little too warm on occasions, although from time to time a gentle breeze helped to cool musicians and spectators.

The Band was excellent as always, getting the crowd clapping to Kalinka – a Russian folk song – and the Cornish Floral Dance among others.

There were tombola and cake stalls with shade tents provided by the Wyre Countryside Rangers while the Band sheltered under the combined shade of four gazebos.
