A cat found abandoned and underweight at a property in Blackpool is still looking for a new home after four months.
Vanilla was one of seven cats found at the house in the centre of the resort in March after a neighbour raised the alarm.
He was one of two of the animals found taken to RSPCA Longview, but the other, Melody, was rehoused in May.
Natasha Henderson, of the RSPCA, said Vanilla, who is believed to be between two and four years old, had now been restored to full health after medical treatment and some TLC.
“He is more confident when with another cat so maybe a new home where there is another cat would be an advantage for him,” she said. “He is very affectionate and will allow you to fuss him.”
Miss Henderson added that the catteries were currently full, with 10 cats waiting to be rehoused and another 18 still being nursed back to full health. Adoption costs £60 including micro-chipping, neutering, worming and fleaing.
