“They must have used a crowbar to break the lock. It’s totally demolished.

“It’s just disgusting. It’s hard-earned, expensive stuff they have taken.

“The saddles alone are probably worth about £2,000. It’s not a cheap hobby to have.

“I don’t know how someone could do this.

“My daughter rang me up in tears – it’s all her stuff that’s been taken. She’s only 16.

“We don’t have a lot of money. We have saved up for that stuff for months and years and now it’s gone.

“At least all the horses are still there.

“It must have been planned.

“You wouldn’t know the place was there unless you knew about it beforehand. It’s all the way at the back of the field. You could drive past on the road and you wouldn’t see it.

“I’m upset and I feel so angry thinking about it.”

PC Oliver Maughan, of Fleetwood Police said: “This burglary has had a massive impact on the two young victims whose property was stolen and we would urge anyone who has any information about it to contact us.

“If anyone witnessed any suspicious activity around the time of the burglary or has any information that could assist with our enquiries then please get in touch.”

People with any information are asked to call police on 101 quoting the crime reference number LC-20160708-0488.
