Fay McLean of St Annes has founded The Full Property Experience with a view to creating a countrywide network for property investors.
Fay originally came to Blackpool to work as an entertainer on North Pier and later became a dance teacher working in primary schools.

She said: “There a re a lot of property investment people on the Fylde coast and the idea was to have an event where everything they need is in one place.
“But we also want to attract more outside money into the area to help build up Blackpool and make it back to the Vegas of the north again.
“For example, my nephew came from Weymouth and saw that a four bedroom house in Blackpool was £60,000 while in Weymouth they are £160,000.

“The event is all about having a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a champagne reception, a sit down meal, entertainment, networking and speakers on a variety of property related subjects.
“We had financial help , insurance, tax experts, trades people and speakers such as Jonathan Taylor, Stephen Tew plus Rob Green from Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Economic Development Company. We had more than 68 people at the first one at Fylde Rugby Club and it was a great success. I want to take it on the road. We have another in June.
“People think about investing in places such as Liverpool and Manchester but not the Fylde coast and they are missing out.”
