The win marked the 14th time the company has received the award since first accepting the Retailer of the Year accolade back in 1992.

Beaverbrooks’ CEO, Anna Blackburn, said: “At Beaverbrooks we pride ourselves in our exceptional customer service, expert knowledge and our product offering, so we were thrilled to be recognised as a leader within the jewellery industry.

“In addition to putting customers at the heart of everything we do, we’re passionate about our people and put a high emphasis on training and career development programmes.

“We believe in supporting and inspiring our colleagues through reward schemes and new ways of encouraging and celebrating success.

“We are also very proud of our philanthropic approach to business and have made it the ‘Beaverbrooks Way’ to enrich lives, not just of customers and colleagues, but for charities and the wider community.

“We actively encourage and empower our colleagues to support charities, either by fundraising or volunteering during company time.

“It’s fantastic to see our business recognised for our people’s achievements and I’d like to thank each and every one for all of their hard work and commitment that has helped the business continue to grow and develop over recent years.”

The judges said: “Beaverbrooks’ charitable work, brilliant management policies and 95.5 per cent mystery shop report prove that it has found a winning formula.”
