Fylde coast energy firm set for a restructure

Energy broker firm Inenco has denied there will be widespread redundancies as it undergoes and restructuring programme.

The Lytham-based firm, which employs around 500, said competition meant it needed to make changes resulting in a handful of job losses .

A spokesman said: “Demand for Inenco’s services continues to be strong, however, we do operate in an increasingly-competitive market and consequently have to ensure that our teams are best set up to efficiently meet changing customer needs.

“Following a recent review, a small number of roles have been restructured, but there are no large-scale redundancy programmes taking place and we are still recruiting for new team members at our Lytham office.”

It added it was continuing to invest in training.
