Fylde coast businesses set for expo

More than 2,000 delegates are expected and 160 exhibitors booked to take part in the Lancashire Business Expo on Friday.

Ian Coupe, from the Shout Network, the organisers of the Lancashire Business Expo, said: “We’re overwhelmed with the response we’ve had from businesses keen to exhibit and we now have an extensive waiting list.”

The event promises a wide range of businesses promoting their products and services from both the private and public sectors, corporates and SMEs.

It will also allow networking and features talks from a variety of speakers.

Professor Sue Smith, Director of the Centre for SME Development, will be talking about a solutions focused approach to tackling business issues at 11am.

Anthony Smith of Lantei Compliance will be talking about the importance of protecting the workplace particularly in electrical safety.

Sue Denver, from the Growth Support Programme at Boost Business Lancashire will be speaking about giving businesses the growth boost they need.

The organisers have also teamed up with Bowker BMW to give delegates an opportunity to win a car for the weekend.

The car, filled with balloons, will be at the entrance of the Guild Hall as visitors arrive.
