THE FUNERAL of a teenager killed in a motorbike crash will be held next Monday.
Lydia Taylor-Harrison, 18, of Stalmine, died on Wednesday, August 31, in Blackpool Victoria Hospital, a day after the crash.
The funeral service of the former Saint Aidan’s Church of England Technology College pupil and Stalmine Gala Queen will take place at St James Church, Stalmine.
The service begins at 1.30pm followed by cremation at Carleton Crematorium at 3pm.
Lydia died when she was the pillion passenger on a Honda motorbike which was in collision with a Nissan Micra on Rawcliffe Road, Out Rawcliffe.
Only family flowers are requested to be taken to the service.
The family request that donations are made to the Headfirst charity, which supports research into head injuries, strokes and brain damage.
