A major free event for Fleetwood’s youngsters is set to take place in the port later this month.
The Fun in the Sun event at the Marine Hall will give young people aged 13 to 19, or up to 25 for those with additional needs, the chance to try their hand at activities including taekwondo, urban dance and DJing, among others.
Organisers hope to raise awareness of the range of activities available during the summer holidays and promote local community groups.
The event will run throughout the afternoon and activities on offer include sumo suits, five-a-side, volleyball, arts and crafts, an acoustic tent, bowls, taekwondo demonstration and taster workshops, morris dancing and taster workshops, urban dance demonstration and taster workshops, DJ-ing, airbrush tattooing and even pillow bashing.
