After two years on South Car Park, the show will this year be held on Lawson’s Showground on East Park Drive instead.

More than 400 exhibitors are expected to attend the event on October 7 and 8, with displays including full size steam engines, classic tractors and vintage cars.

Organiser Dave Hall said: “We have outgrown South Car Park, and struggled last year for space due to the number of exhibitors who want to come to the event.

“We needed a bigger site and Lawson’s Field is ideal.

“It gives us chance to have an arena so we can put shows on instead of the vehicles just being stood still.

“We are trying to bring something to Blackpool, especially towards the end of the season.”

Mr Hall said a quarter of the field would be set aside for car parking.

Among the highlights will be a road run through the Illuminations on the Saturday night, with exhibitors including the Isle of Man Morris Minor Club.
