Free dog '˜MOTs' in Blackpool

The vet charity PDSA will offer free health '˜MOTs' to dogs in Blackpool later this month.

Its PetWise tour is travelling across the UK, and a vet nurse will be on board one of the charity’s vehicles at Revoe Park, Blackpool, from 10am to 5pm on Thursday, August 30 and at Lawsons Field, opposite Stanley Park, from 10am to 5pm the following day.

Appointments should be booked in advance by calling 01952 797306.

Vet Rebecca Schofield will assess diet, environment, companionship, behaviour, and health, while nail clipping, ear cleaning, and microchipping – now a legal requirement for all dogs – will also be offered for free, though donations will be welcome.
