Four men accused over ‘drug discovery’

Four men accused of having a cannabis warehouse at Blackpool containing drugs with a value of more than £9,000 have made their first appearance at court.

Christopher Cucchiaro, aged 39, of Linden Avenue, Connah’s Quay, Craig Mullen, 40, of Tram Road, Buckley, both Clwyd, and Andrew Paul, aged 41, of Milton Road, and Darren Ruane, also 41, of Park Road, both of Ellesmere Port, Merseyside, are all charged with producing cannabis.

The cannabis was allegedly found in a warehouse on Watson Road on July 18 this year.

Claire Harris, prosecuting,asked the case to be heard at crown court.

The defendants were bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on October 22 by District Judge Huw Edwards sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
