BEING on television certainly seems to run in this family...

Model Abbey Crouch, formerly Clancy, is well-known – not only for being married to England soccer star Peter Crouch – but for her frequent appearances on TV.

Now her younger brother Sean, who plays full-time for Fleetwood Town, is getting in on the act too.

The 24-year-old will make his TV debut when he stars in the latest “reality drama” series Desperate Scousewives.

The Liverpudlian will feature alongside his cousin, wannabe model Chloe Cummings, 21, in the show – billed as Liverpool’s answer to The Only Way is Essex.

Cameras from TV channel E4 were filming at Highbury last night for the show, as Fleetwood beat Kettering Town 3-0 to go top of the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Sean, who scored the third goal in the game, said: “The programme shows life in Liverpool and hopefully it will show how modern Liverpool is.

“It follows the drama, relationships, there are comedy moments – I think people will find it entertaining.

“I’m really enjoying it so far, it’s great fun – especially as my cousin Chloe is on the show too, I am quite protective over her as she is my younger cousin, she’s only 21.

“And Abbey and all the family are behind us too.

“I think it will be a good thing for Fleetwood Town too as the club will feature in the show and it will help raise the profile of the team. It’s great exposure for an up-and-coming side.”

The first episode of the show was broadcast on Tuesday, but Sean did not feature.

He added: “It is a bit tricky with my availability – playing football full-time for Fleetwood and training – to fit in the filming, so I’m really busy at the moment, but it’s all good fun.”
