POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a flasher repeatedly exposed himself in Stanley Park.

The flasher, believed to be a teenager, has struck three times since Saturday.

The first victim was initially approached close to Kensington Road and Harley Road at around 8.30am on Saturday and the offender has exposed himself to the woman.

He then ran off and exposed himself to the same woman in Stanley Park, close to the Woodland Grove entrance.

The second incident took place in Stanley Park at around 5.30pm at the other side of the park, close to East Park Drive and the hospital.

The flasher exposed himself to the victim before leaving the scene.

The offender is described as being aged between 14 and 16-years-old with a slim build, shaven fair hair. He was wearing tracksuit bottoms.

Det Insp Becky Smith, from Blackpool CID, said: “I am keen to trace the offender and if anyone recognises the description or may have seen someone matching this description acting suspiciously in the area to come forward and contact us.

“Neither victim has been physically hurt but it is still a distressing incident and the person responsible needs to be identified and dealt with.

“I would urge anyone with information to come forward and speak to the police or contact Crimestoppers.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
