Fitness zone lands at Blackpool airport

Sargent Fitness is set to open its doors later this month and is currently holding recruitment sessions.

It is the brainchild of Jack Sargent who said his aim was to bring a London-style fitness experience to the Fylde-Coast, with his boutique gym.

He said it will offer one- to-one and group personal training sessions, as well as customised classes, nutrition consultations and body analysis.

Housed at Constellation House on Blackpool Business Park, the functional training studio has a variety of bespoke, custom-made equipment and top of the range facilities.

Personal trainer, Jack, 25,has more than seven years’ experience in the health and fitness industry.

He has worked in some of the UK’s leading luxury gyms.

He said: “Sargent Fitness is a results driven-gym, providing one-to-one personal training options, alongside a program of carefully designed, targeted classes.

“We’re all about efficiency. Time is precious, so most of our sessions offer short, high intensity, performance enhancing workouts that get results.

“Here you’re a name, not just a number, so each of our classes will be customised to reflect your current fitness abilities, allowing you to get the most out of every visit to the gym.”

The venue also has an artisan coffee bar, which will also be open to the public, serving a variety of healthy drinks, snacks, and smoothies, to eat in or take away.

Jack said the studio has been in the pipeline for over a year and after getting planning permission to go ahead, he moved in mid-December.

The building was originally built to house offices such as the nearby North and West Lancashire Chamber of Commerce centre, but it has remained unoccupied since it was built more than six years ago.

Jack has this week been putting the finishing touches to the gym and is recruiting staff.
