Fire incidents on Fylde

Fylde firefighters were called out to two incidents this afternoon.

At around 3.30pm officers from St Annes and South Shore dealt with a fire in the conservatory of a house on Division Lane, Lytham St Annes.

Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is yet to be established.

No-one was injured.

Shortly after 5pm South Shore and Blackpool firefighters were assigned to a fire in the kitchen of a house on Vicarage Lane, Marton.

The fire had burnt out without spreading and firefighters used a portable fan unit to extract the smoke.

A casualty was attended to by paramedics.
