This was the scene when a car ploughed into a roundabout and mounted a road sign in Blackpool.
The silver Honda reportedly lost control on the Plymouth Road junction after an ambulance approached with its sirens blaring.
The car then hit the roundabout and became marooned on a road sign, according to one eye witness.
Pictures from the scene show the car balanced precariously on two wheels as emergency services deal with the incident, which occurred at around 10.50pm on Monday.
The man, who asked not to be named, said: “The car lost control on the roundabout, took the set of traffic lights out in the process and landed on the actual roundabout.
“There was an ambulance attending an emergency call which was what I think caused the distraction for the driver to lose control.”
The ambulance was not involved in the collision.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “A silver Honda mounted the roundabout and was on its side, leaving quite a bit debris. There were no injuries.”
