THIS Christmas, why not open up your home to the present of a new feline friend?

Monty, a six-year-old black and white cat who has been with the RSPCA at the Longview Animal Home in Marton since August, and the staff there say it’s time for Monty to move on to a loving home.

A spokesperson for the RSPCA said: “Monty is a friendly boy who is used to going outside. He is looking for a loving family home”

He has been under the care of the RSPCA before, and was adopted by his previous owners when he was four-years-old.

However, his previous owners had to give the loved family pet up due to a change in circumstances meaning they could no longer care for a pet, but Monty is keen to start his new life with a new family.

He is a friendly cat who would fit well into a family, and he is good with children. He will also fit in well with any other pets in the home such as dogs, although it is advised that any dogs be “calm.”

Monty is already microchipped and neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations and shots, as well as all of his vet appointments.

Monty can be adopted for a donation of £60. Last week’s pet, Mikey the dog, is still looking for a new owner.
