Event organiser Katie Phillips, 20, said: “We have had a lot of interest from people.

“We will be meeting at Game and then walking from North Pier to South Pier.

“The more people who turn up the better Pokemon will appear. The Comedy Carpet and Blackpool Tower all attract rare Pokemon.

“Anyone who turns up on the day will get a free code for Pokemon. In some of the games you can only get special Pokemon by using a code.

“We’re expecting a good event and everyone seems really excited for it, and the people at Game seem really excited too.”
