Every dog has his day at port
It is the second dog day organised by Fleetwood’s Freeport Shopping Centre following the success of last year’s event.
The centre is inviting owners to bring their dogs to the centre on Saturday for its annual celebration of man’s best friend.

Representatives from animal welfare charity Harvey’s Army will be offering free dog micro-chipping on Saturday.
There will also be a charity tombola organised by the German Shepherd Rescue Angels who help take care of and re-house rescued dogs.
John Magee, Centre Manager at Freeport Fleetwood said: “Dog Day got such a lovely response last year that we decided to do it again.

Dog Day will run from 11am-3pm on Saturday.
Organisations attending will include Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary, Homeless Hounds Lancashire Animal Charity, The Edward Foundation Rescue Charity and the RSPCA.
Harvey’s Army, set up by a woman whose dog went missing to ensure dogs are chipped so they can be returned to their owners, will also be in the centre on Sunday 10 July.
